Starting pay is $15 per hour, with adjustments based on your prior experience.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the installation team by handling the transport and placement of granite, marble, quartz, and various stone materials. Manage the loading, unloading, and secure transport of stone products to ensure they arrive at job sites safely. Support the accurate placement and fastening of backsplashes, countertops, and additional stone features. Prepare the work environment by safeguarding surrounding walls, floors, and other surfaces. Prepare and apply grout, adhesives, and caulking according to project specifications. Aid in the refinement of stone surfaces through cutting, polishing, and finishing processes. Utilize hand and power tools with a focus on operational safety. Ensure all work vehicles, tools, and equipment are kept clean and in good working order. Maintain an orderly job site by clearing away debris and organizing materials. Help the team by lifting and transporting heavy stone components. Contribute to a safe working environment by consistently following safety protocols and utilizing necessary protective gear. Perform thorough inspections of stone materials to identify any damage prior to and following installation. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver high-quality results and ensure client satisfaction. Execute general labor duties and support the lead installer with various assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Demonstrate a high level of precision and attention to detail. Possess the ability to follow directions and function effectively within a team setting. Familiarity with the operation of basic power and hand tools is preferred. Maintain consistent attendance and have reliable transportation to work sites. Possess foundational construction skills, with previous experience in stonework, kitchen, or bathroom installations being highly valued.
