Business Analyst - Data Analyst
We're looking for a Business/Data Analyst who can combine strong data skills with technical problem-solving, working closely with both business and technical teams.
What You'll Do
+ Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports (Power Query, DAX, data modeling) + Write SQL queries to analyze, validate, and integrate data + Support business decisions through data and operational analysis + Build scripts, tools, and automations using Python, JavaScript, SQL, and APIs + Test systems and validate data quality (QA) + Spot opportunities to improve data, reporting, and processes + Maintain existing dashboards, integrations, and automation tools + Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, GIS staff, and other stakeholders + Document technical work and support training/knowledge-sharing •What You Need•+ Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience) + 3+ years in data analysis, systems analysis, BI, or application support + Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and relational databases + Experience with Python, JavaScript, or APIs + Strong communication skills — able to work with both technical and non-technical people •Nice to Have•+ Accela Civic Platform experience + Background with local government planning/permitting/licensing systems + Agile experience + Familiarity with Jira, SSMS, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Excel, PowerPointMotion Recruitment Partners (MRP) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
