Job Description

This position is located in Emmitsburg, Maryland, within the NETC Management, Operations, and Support Services Division. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have experience performing budget-related duties in a team environment, and be responsible for a wide range of planning and project management activities.
Qualifications:
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for this position at the GS-11 level , you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, organizing, developing, and evaluating strategic programs to plan and conduct limited factual studies and analyses concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of business-related operations; 2) Modifying procedures and practices to improve the effectiveness of administrative services; and 3) Creating and assessing qualitative and quantitative reports using various electronic programs (e.g., Excel, Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Connect).
OR Education :
You must have successfully completed 3 years of progressively higher-level education leading to a Ph.D degree or equivalent in a related field (eg. Emergency Management, Mitigation Management, or related). OR Must possess a combination of both education and experience listed above.
