Job Description

Business and Marketing Consultant Redmond Growth - 4.5 Tulsa, OK Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year 5 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Client relationship management Google Workspace Contractor management Management Small business experience English Small business experience Bachelor's degree Team management Client management Organizational skills Relationship management Account management Full Job Description Business & Marketing Consultant Redmond Growth Consulting Job Description Who We Are & Where We're Going We're building something pretty special at Redmond Growth. Our vision is to build the largest small-business coaching and consulting company in the country, with a primary focus on contractors. We aren't there yet, but we're well on our way, and we're looking for people who are excited by the idea of helping build it with us. At the simplest level, we help good businesses become great businesses. We now work with 130-150 different businesses across the United States each week, and we get incredible results. On average, our clients grow significantly (62% annual average) each year, and the people in our organization certainly grow along with them. We're looking for people who want to get there with us - people who want to spend their lives, as Steve Jobs put it, "Making a dent in the universe." Our organization attracts people from all sorts of backgrounds. Some of our top performers didn't graduate from college, and some are former chemical engineers. We aren't looking for experience as much as we're looking for the right kind of person. The right kind of person is someone comfortable in their own skin, trustworthy, motivated, coachable, intelligent, growth-oriented, empathetic, hard-working, and feels called to serve humanity in a valuable way; a person who may not know their specific calling, but knows the calling is there. This isn't meant to be a cliché or overly motivational job post; it is meant to be transparent and sincere. This is really what we're doing, really who we are, and really the quality of people we seek to attract. It's important for us to share this before sharing any specifics of the job, because we can make anyone work as long as they are the right fit with our team and our culture. If reading this caused something within you to light up, then apply. What This Role Really Is The Business & Marketing Consultant sits right in the middle of our clients, our marketing team, and the growth strategy we're implementing for their businesses.

You aren't simply an account manager passing messages back and forth.

You're the person helping the client understand what we're doing, why we're doing it, whether it's working, what we need from them, and what needs to happen next.

You'll build relationships with business owners, learn their companies, review their marketing performance, hold them accountable when something on their side is slowing progress, and work closely with our internal specialists to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You'll also become fluent in the different pieces of the Redmond Growth marketing system: Meta Ads, Google Business Profile, Google Local Services Ads, CMM, websites, lead tracking, and the numbers that tell us whether those things are actually producing business.

Over time, the goal is bigger than learning how to manage marketing accounts. You'll learn how to look at a business, identify what's helping or hurting its growth, have direct conversations with an owner, and help them make better decisions.

That's the consulting part of this role. What You'll Actually Be Doing You'll be the primary point of contact for our marketing clients and will own the communication and follow-through around their marketing program.
That includes:
Meeting with each client for 30 minutes every other week. Reviewing internal updates, outstanding action items, marketing performance, and Meta Ads metrics before those meetings. Helping clients clearly understand what's happening with their marketing and what comes next. Reviewing calls, leads, booked jobs, revenue, lead quality, and other performance indicators with the client. Making sure the client is doing the things we need from them to make their marketing successful. Following up when missing assets, access, approvals, tracking, or other action items are holding up progress. Keeping client agendas and Monday updated so everyone knows what's happening. Making sure our internal marketing team has what they need from the client. Bringing client feedback and real-world sales results back to our marketing specialists. Identifying problems early rather than waiting until they become bigger problems. Reviewing profit and loss statements. Making adjustments to pricing & cash flow accordingly Helping with hiring, training, and holding employees accountable Building out & implementing checklists for specific positions - setting KPIs around these positions Implementing working agreements, change order policies, and cost plus pricing with clients Tracking Collections & cash flow through Profit First You won't personally execute every piece of the marketing. We have specialists doing that work. Your job is to understand each piece well enough to connect the dots among what our team is doing, what the client is doing, and the results the business is getting. Your Client Meetings Every other week, you'll sit down with the business owner and work through the things that matter. You'll talk about wins, problems, leads, jobs sold, marketing performance, and anything that may be getting in the way of results. You'll review things like: Marketing tracking and key numbers Meta Ads performance Lead quality and sales feedback Google Local Services Ads Google Business Profile CMM and other Redmond Growth marketing services Updates from our internal marketing team Outstanding client action items Anything that may be hurting performance These shouldn't feel like boring status meetings. A good meeting leaves the client knowing where they stand, what we're doing, what they need to do, and what the next move is. Who Will Do Well Here We're looking for someone who learns quickly, communicates well, asks good questions, follows through, and genuinely cares about helping people succeed. You'll probably love this role if you're: Naturally curious about how businesses work. Comfortable talking with business owners and building relationships. Organized enough to keep a lot of moving pieces from falling through the cracks. Willing to have direct conversations instead of avoiding uncomfortable ones. Interested in marketing, business strategy, entrepreneurship, or all three. Coachable and eager to keep getting better. Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do. Able to learn something and then turn around and explain it simply to someone else. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who sees this as an opportunity to learn how businesses actually grow. There aren't many jobs where you get a front-row seat to dozens of companies, see what's working and what isn't, learn marketing and business strategy at the same time, and then help owners put those lessons into practice. That's what this role can become for the right person. Requirements 5+ years of client management or account management experience. We want someone who's already spent real time managing relationships and being accountable to clients or accounts. 2+ years of mid-level management experience. Having managed people or a team tells us a lot: work ethic, reliability, and the kind of judgment that gets someone promoted in the first place. 2+ years of digital marketing experience, specifically with things like Google Business Profile, Google Local Services Ads, WordPress web design, SEO, and Meta Ads, etc. Preferred Qualifications Management experience in a construction-related business or industry. Bachelor's degree Background owning or working closely with a small business Experience with CRM or project management tools Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet) What Success Looks Like You'll know you're doing this job well when clients don't feel like they're buying a collection of marketing services, they feel like they have someone on their side helping them grow their business. They know what's happening, understand their numbers, and know what we need from them next.
That looks like:
Clients stay. Retention stays high because they trust the relationship, not just the results. Clients understand their ROI. They know what's working, what isn't, and why. You're responsive. Clients get a same-day response when they reach out, and their KPIs and CMM stay current because you're staying ahead of it and not chasing it down. Clients follow through on their end. Leads get followed up on quickly, and clients are doing the things we need from them to make their marketing work. Problems get caught early. Client feedback makes it back to the right people before small issues become big ones. The work connects to real results. Marketing isn't happening in a vacuum, we're tying it to actual leads, sales, revenue, and growth.
