Overview Seeking Private School Startup Consultant (K-2) We are seeking an experienced Private School Startup Consultant to assist with the development and licensing of a new private elementary school serving Kindergarten through 2nd Grade in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience opening or consulting for private schools and be knowledgeable about state requirements, educational regulations, and the overall startup process.

Responsibilities include:

Guiding us through the private school approval/application process Assisting with state licensing and regulatory compliance Advising on curriculum requirements and academic standards Developing required policies, procedures, and operational documents Guiding staffing requirements and organizational structure Assisting with enrollment planning and school operations Helping ensure the school is fully prepared to open successfully

Qualifications:

Proven experience opening or consulting for private schools Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania private school regulations (preferred) Experience with educational compliance, accreditation, or school administration Excellent organizational and project management skills Ability to work collaboratively from planning through opening Skills Strong expertise in strategic planning, business analysis, and enterprise solutions implementation within the education sector or management consulting environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for data analysis, presentation development, and project documentation. Extensive experience in project management, especially in technology-driven initiatives related to organizational change or process improvement. Proven ability to lead teams effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive large-scale organizational change management efforts. Excellent verbal communication skills with executives and stakeholders at all levels; adept at client communication and consulting firm engagement. Deep understanding of lean management principles, process mapping techniques, and business consulting methodologies tailored to educational startups. Research skills to identify industry trends, best practices, and innovative solutions that support sustainable growth for new private schools. This is a consulting opportunity with flexible hours.
