Job Description

The Revenue Cycle Contract Analyst supports Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital's revenue cycle, managed care, and finance functions by helping monitor payer contracts, billing requirements, reimbursement trends, contract-related reporting, and payer performance. This role is ideal for someone with experience in revenue cycle, hospital or clinic front desk operations, billing, finance, accounting, or data analysis who is analytical, personable, technology-oriented, and eager to grow into a more advanced revenue cycle and contract management function. The position requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with data and reports, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal departments, external payers, and revenue cycle partners. The Revenue Cycle Contract Analyst will work with electronic health record systems, payer portals, Microsoft Office products, Excel, and business intelligence tools, including Power BI as the organization expands its reporting capabilities. Required Qualifications Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: revenue cycle, medical billing, patient access, front desk operations, hospital or clinic registration, finance, accounting, data analysis, or administrative healthcare operations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Comfort working with reports, spreadsheets, account data, and system-generated information. Ability to learn payer contracts, reimbursement terms, billing rules, and revenue cycle workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability and willingness to learn Power BI, payer portals, EHR reporting tools, and other technology platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional, personable, and comfortable working with multiple departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on assignments, and escalate issues appropriately. Understanding of
HIPAA, PHI
protections, and patient confidentiality requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a hospital, rural hospital, critical access hospital, clinic, physician practice, or healthcare business office. Experience with electronic health record systems, billing systems, clearinghouses, or payer portals. Familiarity with insurance payors, managed care contracts, claims, denials, authorizations, payment posting, or contractual adjustments. Intermediate Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations, and report formatting. Experience reviewing financial, billing, reimbursement, or operational reports. Interest in growing into managed care, revenue cycle analytics, payer contracting, or healthcare finance.
