This role serves as a key link between business operations and technology, partnering directly with manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, shipping, procurement, and finance teams to identify business needs and deliver practical system and process solutions. This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. This is an onsite, hands-on role requiring someone who is comfortable working directly with end users and spending time on the shop floor to understand processes, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate combines strong QAD technical knowledge with an understanding of manufacturing operations and has the ability to take a business problem from initial investigation through solution design, testing, implementation, documentation, and user adoption. Key Responsibilities Analyze current business processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies and gaps, and develop optimized solutions using QAD functionality. Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for QAD users across manufacturing and business operations. Troubleshoot production and system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective solutions. Configure, test, document, and implement QAD system enhancements and modifications. Partner with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, warehouse, shipping, and finance teams to translate business requirements into effective system solutions. Support QAD upgrades, testing, integrations, data conversions, and system improvement initiatives. Develop and support integrations and data exchanges between QAD and other business applications. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data solutions to support operational and business decision-making. Create and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, process maps, and training materials. Train and support end users and assist with adoption of new systems, processes, and functionality. Manage multiple system requests, projects, enhancements, and production-support priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Identify opportunities to improve system utilization, data accuracy, operational efficiency, and internal controls. Required Qualifications 3-7 years of hands-on experience supporting and configuring QAD ERP in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong working knowledge of manufacturing and supply-chain processes, including MRP, inventory control, warehouse management, procurement, order management, and distribution. Experience with QAD EE. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause problem-solving skills. Ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, from shop-floor users to leadership. Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Preferred Technical Experience Experience with one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Progress 4GL QXtend API development and integrations CIM/Load and other QAD data-loading tools Excelerator 32Soft Barcode and label-printing software Power BI development and reporting Data extraction, validation, conversion, and integration Work Environment This is a full-time, onsite position in a manufacturing environment. The role requires regular interaction with production and warehouse operations and the ability to work directly with employees on the shop floor as business and system needs arise.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
