Memorable Moments is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Holiday Décor Shopper / Sourcing Assistant to support our holiday decorating projects throughout the Birmingham area. Our clients don't want to spend their weekends driving from store to store looking for ribbon, ornaments, florals, wreaths, candles, and other seasonal décor. We do it for them. What You'll Do Shop for holiday décor based on project-specific instructions Source items from local retailers, specialty stores, and other approved vendors Compare options and prices while staying within the client's designated décor budget Pick up online orders and store orders Transport décor safely Organize purchases by client/project Keep receipts and purchase records organized Communicate when requested items are unavailable or require substitution Help identify unique décor pieces that fit a client's design direction Assist with occasional setup or installation when needed We're Looking For Someone Who Is Extremely detail-oriented A strong shopper and problem-solver Familiar with Birmingham-area shopping Comfortable working from inspiration photos Reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently Able to lift and transport boxes of décor Professional when interacting with vendors and clients Comfortable managing receipts and purchases accurately Experience in retail merchandising, interior styling, event décor, floral design, personal shopping, event planning, or visual merchandising is a plus. Compensation Compensation will be determined based on experience and assignment. Please include your desired hourly or project rate when applying. Reliable transportation is required.
