Job Summary:

We are supporting a search for a Buyer to help drive procurement activities across direct materials and services in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to sourcing, supplier management, and cost-effective purchasing for a wide range of standard and specialized materials.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full procurement lifecycle for direct categories, including standard commercial off-the-shelf products, discrete electronic components, and aerospace-related materials and services. Process requisitions into purchase orders while following company policies and procurement procedures. Issue RFQs and RFPs, evaluate supplier responses, and support competitive bid analysis to help identify the best value. Maintain supplier relationships after award, monitor commitment schedules, support on-time delivery, and resolve issues such as quality concerns, delivery delays, and invoice discrepancies.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a direct buying capacity. Demonstrated experience procuring COTS products and electronics hardware. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with experience using ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa. Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is preferred. Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and procurement compliance requirements is preferred. Understanding of the Coupa and Costpoint ERP systems is preferred.
