Job Summary We are seeking a Healthcare Purchasing Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Martinez, CA. This role supports critical purchasing and procurement operations within a respected healthcare services environment, helping departments obtain the supplies, services, and vendor support they need to operate effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented administrative and procurement professional who enjoys purchase order management, vendor communication, documentation, and problem-solving. You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers in a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare setting where accuracy, responsiveness, and teamwork make a direct impact. The ideal candidate will appreciate a collaborative environment with supportive stakeholders, steady purchasing activity, and the opportunity to strengthen procurement, ERP, and healthcare operations experience. Key Responsibilities
Create, process, track, and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate purchasing requests from multiple internal departments and help ensure timely fulfillment.
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, order status, delivery timelines, and issue resolution.
Maintain purchasing records, vendor information, procurement documentation, and related files.
Assist with invoice matching, purchase record verification, and procurement or contract-related documentation.
Use Excel and ERP systems to monitor purchasing activity, update records, and support reporting needs. Compensation and Benefits
Pay rate: $26 to $28 per hour.
