Job Description

A pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Rancho Cucamonga is looking for a Planning Coordinator to performs schedules, forecast projections for finish product, semi-finished products, components, packaging. Prepares & reviews Finish Product inventory, prepares purchase requisitions for finish product & components, packaging. Tracks inventories, enters usage into open work orders for production. The above operations cover business of Amphastar and contracted manufacturers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Production schedules, schedules for forecast projections for finish products, semi-finished products, component packaging requirements determines component requirements, enters usage into open work orders, tracks inventory. Directs compilation of data and preparation of required reporting, reviews, prepares and distributes forecast projection, work order schedules. Interprets calculations of factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, analyzes contracted manufacturer files. Maintain inventory for all materials used for manufacturing of semi-finished and finished products of Amphastar and contracted manufacturers. Prepares purchase requisition for contracted manufactured products. Assigns lot numbers for contracted manufacturing schedules. Coordinates contracted manufacturing delivery & pick up.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school, and four plus years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sunshine Act Amphastar reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providers as required by federal and state transparency laws and implementing regulations. These laws and regulations require Amphastar to provide government agencies with information such as a health care provider's name, address, and the type of payments or other value received, generally for public disclosure. Subject to further legal review and statutory or regulatory clarification, which Amphastar intends to pursue, reimbursement of recruiting expenses for licensed physicians may constitute a reportable transfer of value under the federal transparency law commonly known as the Sunshine Act. Therefore, if you are a licensed physician who incurs recruiting expenses as a result of interviewing with Amphastar that we pay or reimburse, your name, address, and the number of payments made currently will be reported to the government.
