eNetwork Supply is hiring and immediately in need of filling the open position of Procurement/Buy Back Specialist for our facility located in Skokie, IL. eNetwork Supply (eNS) is the leading provider of new and pre-owned equipment for the cable, IT, Data Centers, and telecommunications industries. The Procurement/Buy Back Specialist will spearhead our hardware acquisition and value recovery initiatives. He/She will evaluate used, surplus, or end-of-life hardware, negotiate purchase offers with clients, and coordinate the reverse logistics of bringing equipment back to eNS's inventory. The candidate will be a resilient negotiator with a keen eye for assessing the fair market value of IT/electronic/telecommunications hardware. Responsibilities:

Asset Acquisition & Procurement Identify and purchase surplus, excess, and decommissioned telecom, broadband, and data center equipment. Develop relationships with telecom carriers, broadband providers, utilities, contractors, data centers, and enterprise customers. Evaluate equipment inventories and determine market value. Negotiate purchase agreements, asset recovery contracts, and bulk inventory acquisitions. Source equipment through direct customer outreach, auctions, and liquidation opportunities. Customer & Vendor Relationship Management Build and maintain relationships with procurement, network operations, engineering, and facilities teams. Serve as the primary contact for customers looking to dispose of excess equipment and materials. Generate leads through industry networking, trade shows, and targeted outreach. Coordinate site visits and inventory assessments. Asset Evaluation & Valuation Review BOMs, inventory lists, and equipment reports. Assess equipment condition, age, demand, and resale value. Identify opportunities to recover value from surplus network assets. Prepare competitive purchase offers and asset disposition proposals. Telecom, Broadband & Data Center Equipment Expertise Fiber optic cable and fiber reels OSP materials (pedestals, cabinets, handholes, conduit, hardware) Calix, Adtran, Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, and other network electronics Routers, switches, optical transport equipment, and access platforms Data center servers, storage, racks, and power equipment Antennas, wireless infrastructure, and tower equipment Generators, UPS systems, batteries, and power distribution equipment

Qualifications:

Experience:

3-5 years of proven experience in IT/electronic hardware procurement, purchasing, IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), refurbished electronics, or a closely related field.

Technical Aptitude:

Deep understanding of hardware (servers, networking, storage, or consumer/commercial tech) to accurately assess condition and functionality.

Negotiation Skills:

A confident, resilient negotiator who is comfortable with B2B cold outreach and closing deals.

Analytical Skills:

Strong mathematical and analytical capability to interpret yield data, analyze past buying trends, and maintain spreadsheet/CRM records.

Organization:

Highly organized with the ability to manage a large pipeline and juggle multiple active offers at once.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
