Job Description

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist works under the supervision of the Director of Supply Chain Operations in the Supply Chain department and will maintain a business advocate role supporting Mosaic Life Care. The Specialist will demonstrate the ability to negotiate complex business and legal contractual terms, exhibit competence with data and financial analytics, audit agreements, review initiatives for future purchasing challenges, and develop relationships both internally and externally. In this role, the Specialist will lead Value Analysis Teams to properly maximize GPO compliance, standardize, and show high performance of products with cost effectiveness while managing clinical and non-clinical supplies and assets. Basic responsibilities include sourcing, price negotiation, establish and manage supply and service contracts, and collaboration. > Additional Information

  • Computer skills, speaks clearly, inputs data, telephone use, ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form, proficient in various software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • MMIS experience preferred. Interpersonal Skills
  • Team player, poses a positive attitude with a work ethic of the highest standard, friendly, flexible, cooperative.

  • Excellent reconciliation skills, adapt at solving inventory problems with minimal supervision.
