Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent to support our procurement and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating pricing, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support business operations. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and experienced in purchasing within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors Issue purchase orders and track order status to ensure on-time delivery Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed Resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, and delivery issues Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, Finance, and Production) to support purchasing needs Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience Strong negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiation Knowledge of inventory control practices Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth and development Why Join Us We offer a collaborative work environment where your contributions directly impact business success.
