In this role, you will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and oversee procurement processes across global markets. Responsible for managing the procurement of goods, materials, and services from both domestic and international suppliers to support business operations. Negotiated pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for domestic and international suppliers. Source and qualify new global vendors to improve quality, pricing, and supply reliability. Negotiated pricing, payment terms, freight arrangements, and delivery schedules. Coordinate international shipments, including import/export documentation, customs compliance, and logistics. Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements to ensure uninterrupted production. Issue purchase orders and track orders through delivery while resolving shipping delays and supplier issues. Collaborate with production, inventory, finance, and logistics teams to meet operational goals. Analyze supplier performance, pricing trends, and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, international trade regulations, and quality standards. Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepared procurement reports using ERP/MRP systems.
Qualifications:
Experience purchasing products and materials from international suppliers. Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, Incoterms, and international shipping. Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills. Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. German speaking is a plus
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
