As a Refurb Buyer at Micro Center, you will source, evaluate, and purchase refurbished computers and electronics to support our fast-paced retail operations. Partnering with refurb vendors and brokers, you'll negotiate pricing and terms, assess product quality and grading, and balance assortment, margin, and inventory turns. You'll analyze sales trends, forecast demand, and collaborate closely with merchandising, logistics, and store teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time, all while staying current on hardware trends and Micro Center's customer-obsessed culture. Responsibilities Source and purchase refurbished computers and electronics to meet assortment and margin goals. Evaluate product quality, grading, and specifications for refurb inventory. Negotiate pricing, terms, and volume with refurb suppliers and brokers. Monitor sales, turns, and inventory levels; adjust buying plans accordingly. Collaborate with store, logistics, and merchandising teams on demand and allocations. Track market trends, pricing, and availability in the refurbished tech space. Maintain accurate purchase orders, vendor records, and item data in systems. Resolve quality, delivery, and return issues with vendors. Support promotional plans by ensuring timely availability of refurb items. Continuously improve sourcing strategies using data and performance metrics.
