We're looking for a Sourcing Associate to join our supply chain team in Carrollton, TX . This is a full-time, onsite position , offering an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to keep our sourcing activities organized, support competitive purchasing decisions, and help ensure materials and services are delivered on time and within budget . Most importantly, this role offers an opportunity to grow beyond transactional purchasing into broader sourcing and category management responsibilities . What You'll Do As a Sourcing Associate, you will: Identify, research, and evaluate potential suppliers based on pricing, quality, capabilities, terms, and lead times. Request and compare supplier quotations, terms, and delivery commitments. Support RFQs and RFPs , including analyzing vendor bids and their financial impact. Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, pricing information, and sourcing databases. Create, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Track shipments and delivery timelines, identify potential delays or supply risks, and proactively communicate issues. Coordinate inbound shipping activities and communicate with freight carriers and logistics partners. Prepare and review import/export documentation, including bills of lading, sales contracts, invoices, and certificates of origin . Work with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure documentation is accurate and submitted on time. Partner with internal teams to understand sourcing requirements and identify opportunities to improve cost, service, and supplier performance. Build positive, professional relationships with suppliers and support vendor negotiations. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership . You'll ideally bring: 1-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain support. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel . Experience with an ERP system or procurement software . Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when communicating with vendors. The ability to manage multiple sourcing requests, suppliers, purchase orders, and deadlines simultaneously. A working understanding of purchase orders, contracts, quotations, and vendor negotiations. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field , or equivalent relevant experience. Ability and willingness to work onsite in Carrollton, TX. Nice to Have You'll stand out if you also have: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision or another ERP system. Exposure to international sourcing, import/export compliance, or freight logistics . Experience working with customs brokers or freight forwarders. Experience with cost analysis, spend reporting, or supplier bid analysis . Experience identifying and implementing supplier cost-saving opportunities. Why Join Us?
