• Source and identify new vendors and suppliers
• Request pricing and quotes from multiple vendors
• Compare pricing, availability, lead times, freight, and terms
• Negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing
• Purchase steel, pipe, fencing materials, trailer parts, welding supplies, and other products
• Create and submit purchase orders
• Monitor inventory needs and reorder materials as necessary
• Track open purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
•  Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors
• Continuously look for opportunities to reduce purchasing costs
• Verify pricing and resolve discrepancies with vendors
