In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing a diverse selection of fresh flowers and floral products to meet the needs of our retail outlets and customers. Your expertise in supply chain management, vendor relationships, and inventory control will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality floral products while optimizing costs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product offerings, build strong vendor partnerships, and contribute to our vibrant merchandising strategy. Responsibilities Source and select premium flowers and floral products by evaluating supplier offerings and market trends. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contractual agreements with vendors to secure the best value. Ordering hard goods Maintain strong vendor relationships through regular communication, performance reviews, and sourcing initiatives. Utilize spreadsheets and Excel data analysis tools to monitor purchasing patterns, pricing fluctuations, and inventory turnover. Collaborate with merchandising teams to align floral selections with seasonal themes and customer preferences. Experience Proven experience in purchasing management within the floral industry or related retail sectors. Knowledge of supply chain management principles including logistics, inventory control, and vendor negotiation techniques. Demonstrated ability to analyze Excel data for procurement insights and decision-making purposes. Experience working with purchasing management systems that support sourcing, vendor communication, and inventory management. Excellent vendor relationship management skills coupled with effective negotiation capabilities. Background in merchandising or product sourcing with a focus on floral or perishable goods preferred.
