Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Air Import Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the coordination and management of air freight imports, ensuring seamless execution from shipment arrival to delivery. Your expertise will facilitate efficient communication with carriers, customs authorities, and clients, supporting the smooth flow of international trade operations. Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of air import shipments, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to ensure timely pickup and delivery Monitor shipment status using transportation management systems and update stakeholders regularly Prepare and verify shipping documents in accordance with international trade regulations and FDA regulations where applicable Manage client relationships through effective communication and account management practices Ensure compliance with trade laws, import regulations, and safety standards Collaborate with internal teams on transportation planning, freight brokerage, and logistics sales initiatives Maintain accurate data entry within CRM software and transportation management systems Assist in resolving shipment issues promptly to minimize delays or costs Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing logistics processes and suggesting enhancements

Skills:

Extensive experience in supply chain management, transportation management, and logistics company operations Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong knowledge of air freight procedures, freight forwarding logistics, and shipping logistics best practices Familiarity with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations and freight brokerage functions Excellent negotiation skills for carrier sales, client communication, and sales management Deep understanding of international trade regulations, FDA regulations, and trade compliance standards Proven ability in customer service, client relationship management, and inside sales roles Effective negotiation skills for sales negotiation and transportation sales opportunities Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and documentation accuracy Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment If you are passionate about logistics sales, freight forwarding logistics, and international trade compliance—ready to make an impact within a global supply chain environment—we invite you to apply today.
