ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform general stocking labor including moving freight, stock, and other materialsDetermines work assignments and material or equipment needs based on written work orders or oral instructionsTransports freight, stock, and other materials by hand or using trucks to and from various locationsSorts cargo before loading and unloadingLoads and unloads cargo using appropriate toolsUses bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transportedStacks cargo where directed using pallets or cargo boardsTransport tools and supplies from storage unit to work area and returns them after useUses daily production sheets or work tickets to record the number of units moved or managedPerforms other related duties as assigned
