This role involves overseeing all aspects of business management, including financial oversight, fundraising, and organizational growth. The CEO will serve as the primary representative of the organization, fostering relationships with stakeholders, the board of directors, and the community. The position requires a leader capable of guiding the organization through change and complexity while promoting a positive and inclusive organizational culture. Responsibilities Partner with the Board of Directors to set and implement the organization's strategic vision, mission, goals. and priorities. Lead and manage the senior leadership team, recruiting, supervising, and supporting high-performing staff members. Oversee business management functions to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness to ensure organizational sustainability and responsiveness to community needs Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and fiscal controls Collaborate with the Board on financial strategy, risk management and long term sustainability Ensure responsible stewardship of organizational resources Support and expand diversified funding streams such as grants, contracts, and fundraising initiatives to sustain organizational growth Cultivate relationships with funders, partners, and community stakeholders to enhance support for organizational programs. Serve as the primary spokesperson and advocate for the organization's mission and values in the community Support Board development by engaging members actively, ensuring compliance with governance best practices, and fostering strong board relations Represent the organization at public events, coalitions, advocacy efforts, and other external engagements to raise awareness and promote organizational interests Lead strategic management efforts to adapt to changing environments while maintaining focus on long-term objectives Promote staff retention, well-being, and a positive work environment through fair, inclusive human resources, policies and practices. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, equity, and inclusion Lead through change and complexity with resilience and strategic insight. Qualifications Master's degree in social work/counseling, public administration, nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field Minimum of five (5) years of senior leadership experience, including responsibility for organizational management, decision making and fundraising initiatives Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial oversight and organizational management Strong understanding of counseling services, community-based programs and social impact work Proven fundraising and grant management experience Knowledge of public policy and advocacy related to human services Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the organization confidently at public events and in advocacy efforts. Provide timely and accurate information to support informed Board decision making Knowledge of nonprofit governance best practices and experience working closely with boards of directors.
