UT Health Quitman is a critical access hospital located in Wood County. The current facility was constructed in 2013 and features 25 private rooms; 24-hour emergency department designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level Ill stroke center: surgical suites; advanced diagnostic technology; swing bed care; cardiopulmonary rehabilitation; on-site physician clinics and a sleep lab.

UT Health Pittsburg:

UT Health Pittsburg is a critical access hospital located in Camp County. The current facility was constructed in 2009 and features 25 private rooms with pastoral views; 24-hour emergency department, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility; surgical suites; advanced diagnostic technology; sleep lab; swing bed care; 16 physician offices and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.

Job Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team at UT Health Quitman & UT Health Pittsburg as a Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides leadership and directs the overall operation of the facility consistent with the mission, values, and strategy of Ardent Health Services as well as with the goals and objectives of the facility and its advisory or governing body. The CEO plans, organizes, applies, directs, controls, and evaluates all resources (human, facilities, equipment, capital, fiscal, and others) invested in the facility. The CEO uses all resources to generate measurable results to benefit the corporation, the community, the facility, the medical staff, and the patient. Responsibilities Formulatesand executesa regional growth strategy for both in-patient and out-patient services. Establisheseffective and collaborative relationships to foster growth plans.\nEnsuresalignment of the hospital system goals and objectives with the JV partner.\nBuildsand maintainsa high performing leadership environment.\nCollaborates and BuildsCommunity/Statewide relationships and business.

Collaborates with other local providers and/or organizations to identify high quality, high impact care models (how can we help outlying hospitals to assist them and form strong relationships and referral patterns). Creates outreach programs to remote areas and communities.\nContinued development of Organizational Excellence throughensuringculture is supportive of all process improvementand streamlinedworkflow to ensure patient flowwith agoal orientedfocus.\nStrengthens workforce culture to ensure adequate workforce for continued growth.\nCollaborates with system peersincluding shapingsystem-wide initiatives to reduce redundancies and duplication of services, capital, personnel, etc.

Capitalize on sharing high performing resources across the system to promote high performance and system-wide consistency.\nOperates as avisible leader in the facility, the system, and community.\nPlacesa high priority on effective identification and selection processes for the hiring of talentacross the organization.\nSetsclear direction with leaders/managers, andestablishesa culture of accountability.\nMotivates, developsand partnerswith direct reports to help build their success.\nDevelops short and long rangemanagement and organizationplansto define responsibilities and business activities consistent with facility goals and objectives.\nImplementsArdent Health Services' ethics and compliance program throughout the organization. Ensures that policies are uniformly understood and consistently interpreted and administered.\nDevelops and maintains effective and collaborative relationships with the medicalstaff, andensures our ability to meet the health needs of the community.\nEnsuresthat operational and financial reports are prepared as required in regularly scheduled meetings and committees.\nMaintains accreditation and licensure standardsfor JCAHO, Medicare, Medicaid, state licensure, and other regulatory agencies.\nResponsible for the facility's quality improvement and organizational effectiveness programs.\nEnsures best practice, evidence-based approaches to consistently deliver exceptional, well-coordinated and integrated care that delivers high level outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications Job Requirements:

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, or Business Administration.\n5+years of experience in healthcare administration.\nExcellent verbal, quantitative, managerial, and interpersonal skills.\nCurrent knowledge of JCAHO, OSHA, state and federal regulatory standards.\nExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate ideas, problems, instructions (written and oral) with corporate management staff, facility management staff and employees.\nAbility to analyze situations, evaluate data, recommend, and implement courses of action that would improve the functioning of the company.\nAbility to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.\nAbility to use sound judgment in decision making andreact calmly and effectively inan emergency situation.\nKnowledge of strategic planning and short and long-range goal implementation.
