A moving company is seeking an experienced executive to lead the growth and operational performance of our nationwide interstate household goods (HHG) agent network. As one of the nation's largest independently owned interstate moving companies, we operate 75 company-owned trucks servicing customers 365 days a year. We are making a significant investment in expanding our agency network and are looking for a proven leader to help shape its future.

Our goal is ambitious:

build and lead a nationwide agent network capable of consistently servicing 500+ interstate household goods shipments per month while delivering an industry-leading customer experience. Position Summary Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Agent Operations will be responsible for the strategic growth, performance, and compliance of our nationwide agent network. This executive will recruit and develop high-performing agents, build the supporting operational teams, establish best practices, and ensure every shipment handled by an agent meets our standards. This role offers the opportunity to build a best-in-class organization from the ground up. •

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE MOVING INDUSTRY AS A BROKER IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED

Key Responsibilities Recruit, onboard, and develop a nationwide network of interstate moving agents. Build and lead teams including Agent Customer Service Coordinators, Dispatchers, Compliance Specialists, and Quality Assurance personnel. Develop and implement SOPs, KPIs, and performance scorecards. Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and our operating standards. Improve customer satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency across the network. Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching with agency partners. Partner with executive leadership to support long-term growth and profitability. Qualifications 10+ years of leadership experience in the household goods moving industry. Proven success managing or developing an interstate agent network. Strong background in operations, dispatch, logistics, customer service, and compliance. Extensive knowledge of interstate HHG transportation and FMCSA regulations. Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and drive measurable operational results. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
