About the
Role:
The Office Clerk - Contract Review , plays a critical role in ensuring that all contractual documents are thoroughly examined and accurately processed to support the organization's operational and logistical functions. This position is responsible for reviewing contracts to verify compliance with company policies and legal requirements, identifying any discrepancies or risks, and coordinating with relevant departments to resolve issues. The role also involves managing logistics documentation, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate smooth supply chain operations. By serving as a liaison between contract management and logistics teams, the clerk helps to streamline workflows and improve communication across departments. Ultimately, this position contributes to minimizing contractual risks and enhancing the efficiency of logistics processes within the organization. Tasks related to data entry for purchases, invoicing and work orders will also be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred. Related experience in document review, administrative support, or accounts payable. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret product drawing language. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel. Math, organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a production, procurement, or sales / office environment. Familiarity with reading technical documents and reviewing customer requirements. Basic understanding of job / work orders in a production environment. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and legal regulations. Identify and flag any contractual risks, discrepancies, or unusual terms and coordinate with legal or management teams for resolution. Back up the logistics team needs including receiving of work, scheduling deliveries, and communicating with customers and internal teams to ensure timely execution. Data entry of customer requirements (to the shop work order), invoicing and purchasing details.
Skills:
The required skills such as attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are essential for accurately reviewing contracts and assuring customer needs are met. Communication skills are used daily with the team to effectively keep orders on time and resolve issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to prepare reports, track logistics data, and manage documentation efficiently. Preferred skills like reading technical documents and reviewing customer requirements enhance the ability to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy. Additionally, knowledge of product pricing terms and supply chain processes are helpful.
