Role Description The Retirement Plan Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Branford, CT. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of qualified retirement plans, including data collection, contribution and eligibility calculations, compliance testing, and preparation of annual plan reports. The administrator will communicate regularly with clients, financial advisors, and recordkeepers to explain plan provisions, resolve administrative issues, and support smooth plan operations. Daily tasks include reviewing plan documents, monitoring deadlines, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves responding to participant and client inquiries, supporting plan implementation or transitions, and contributing to process improvements within the administration team. Qualifications 3 or more years' experience in a retirement plan administration position, preferred Knowledge of plan compliance issues, ability to perform and understand testing and corrections Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills College degree with continuing education in the retirement plan field preferred Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy enviroment ASPPA, NIPA or ERPA designatiosn highly desirable
