Contract Administrator - Estimating (Skippack, PA) Join our family-owned construction company in Skippack, PA as a Contract Administrator supporting the estimating department. Our primary work focuses on PADOT roadwork and private site development, and we are seeking an organized, reliable candidate to handle the administrative and contractual paperwork that supports successful bids and project starts. This position may be structured as a full-time role or part-time at three days per week, depending on candidate preference and business needs.
Key Duties:
Manage all estimating-area documentation: subcontracts, purchase orders, vendor agreements, certificates of insurance, and bonding submissions. Initiate and track bond requests, coordinate with bonding agents, follow up on approvals and documentation. Prepare standardized contract forms and ensure completeness prior to submission to management or vendors. Organize and maintain a central filing system (electronic and paper) for easy retrieval of bid and contract records. Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve contract questions and obtain required documents in a timely manner.
Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, strong time management, and solid written communication. Prior exposure to construction contract administration, familiarity with PADOT procurement processes, and comfort using Microsoft Office or contract management software are preferred.
