Job Description Johnson Controls is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead end-to-end contract management for our manufacturing and smart building solutions portfolio. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and customer expectations. Partner closely with sales, procurement, operations, and legal to manage risk, optimize terms, and support profitable business growth. In our innovative, safety-focused, and inclusive culture, you'll drive process improvements, support global initiatives, and contribute to sustainable, technology-driven building solutions worldwide. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for manufacturing and smart building solutions Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and Johnson Controls policies Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks Partner with sales, procurement, operations, and legal to support business objectives Manage contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, and terminations Maintain accurate contract records and data in contract management systems Develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, and processes Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on contract standards and risks Support global and cross-functional initiatives related to contract governance Analyze contract performance and recommend process and policy improvements Required Skills Contract negotiation Contract drafting and review Risk assessment Knowledge of contract law Vendor and customer management MS Office and contract management software Cross-functional collaboration Data analysis and reporting Regulatory and compliance understanding Process improvement
