Remote Contract Clinical Access Analyst

Job Description

Job Description The Contract Clinical Access Analyst is responsible for managing user access across Epic, EpicCare Link, Community Connect, and other clinical applications within a healthcare environment. This individual will provision, modify, maintain, and terminate user access for employees, contractors, providers, affiliated physician practices, community organizations, and other approved users while ensuring compliance with security and access governance standards. The analyst will work closely with Epic Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), provider support teams, operational leadership, application owners, and Service Management teams to ensure timely and accurate access provisioning. This role supports onboarding, transfers, organizational changes, terminations, audits, provider access management, and access-related troubleshooting. The position also plays a key role in maintaining documentation, supporting audits, improving processes, and contributing to operational efficiency within Clinical Access Services.
Key responsibilities include:
Epic user provisioning and security administration EpicCare Link, Community, and Community Connect access management Clinical application access provisioning (Epic, Omnicell, Jiva, QNXT, etc.) User lifecycle management (hire, transfer, termination) ServiceNow queue management and ticket resolution Audit support, access reviews, and compliance activities Documentation, process improvement, and workflow optimization Collaboration with technical, clinical, and operational stakeholders We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Epic & Clinical Access Experience Minimum 3 years of Epic Security or Epic user access administration experience within a healthcare environment Hands-on experience provisioning and managing Epic access for clinical, operational, and provider user populations Experience supporting provider access, including affiliated, referring, and community providers Experience creating and maintaining Epic user records, security templates, and role assignments Healthcare Industry Experience Experience working within a healthcare system, hospital, health plan, physician organization, or similar healthcare technology environment Understanding of healthcare operations, provider workflows, and patient care support systems Identity & Access Management Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) principles Understanding of least-privilege access concepts Familiarity with access governance and security best practices Experience processing onboarding, transfer, suspension, modification, and termination requests Service Management & Support Experience working within ServiceNow or a comparable ticketing/service management platform Ability to troubleshoot and resolve user access issues Strong documentation and customer support skills Ability to manage high-volume request queues and competing priorities Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently while partnering with cross-functional teams Strong organizational and time-management capabilities Epic & Clinical Applications Epic Security Certification, Accreditation, or equivalent hands-on Epic Security experience Experience supporting: Epic Community Community Connect EpicCare Link External provider access populations Additional Application Experience Omnicell Jiva QNXT Other clinical or healthcare applications Identity Governance & Compliance Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms such as Saviynt Experience supporting: User access reviews Access attestations Regulatory audits Control testing Compliance remediation activities Healthcare Operations Knowledge Knowledge of provider onboarding processes Experience supporting healthcare affiliations and community-provider relationships Experience in large integrated healthcare delivery systems Process Improvement Experience creating or improving knowledge articles, SOPs, and job aids Exposure to workflow automation initiatives Experience participating in application implementations, go-lives, and operational improvement projects
