Contract Administrator BlueCore Power LLC Tacoma, WA Job Details Full-time $30 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Filing Records management Attention to detail Construction administrative experience Time management Full Job Description Contracts Administrator The Contracts Administrator is responsible for providing a high level of coordination and administrative support across projects, with a primary focus on contract administration, subcontractor onboarding, compliance, and project documentation. This position will partner closely with construction project management, field staff, subcontractors, clients, and owners to ensure contractual, compliance, and project requirements are properly understood, documented, and maintained. The Contracts Administrator will play an important role in supporting project teams. Duties and Responsibilities Contract Administration & Compliance Review and interpret contract and subcontract documents to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements, obligations, deadlines, and compliance requirements. Assist with the preparation, review, execution, and maintenance of subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and related contract documentation. Manage subcontractor onboarding, including collecting, reviewing, organizing, and tracking required documentation and approvals. Establish and maintain accurate subcontractor files and ensure all required insurance certificates, licenses, bonds, W-9s, safety documentation, certifications, and other compliance documents are current and properly maintained. Monitor subcontractor compliance with contractual, State, Federal, and project-specific requirements. Coordinate with project management and subcontractors to resolve missing, incomplete, or expired compliance documentation. Maintain compliance tracking systems and provide updates to project management regarding outstanding requirements or potential issues. Assist with identifying contractual risks, discrepancies, and compliance concerns and escalate issues to appropriate management as needed. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling contracts, legal documents, and sensitive business information. Communicate effectively with clients, owners, and subcontractors as required to support successful project execution. Coordinate documentation, approvals, and correspondence between project managers, subcontractors, and clients. Perform additional administrative and coordination duties as assigned to support project teams. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in contracts administration, project administration, compliance, paralegal support, or a related role, preferably within construction, engineering, or a similar industry. Experience reviewing contracts, subcontracts, compliance documentation, or other legal/business documents preferred. Experience with subcontractor onboarding, vendor management, insurance/compliance tracking, or construction documentation strongly preferred. Paralegal or contracts administration background is a plus. Strong understanding of contract terms, documentation requirements, and compliance processes. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and outside partners. Ability to identify missing information, inconsistencies, and potential compliance issues and follow through to resolution. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and project management software (e.g., eSub or similar). Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when reviewing contracts, compliance documentation, and financial tracking.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
