This opportunity offers sophisticated M&A work for corporate, private equity and health care clients. The successful attorney will work closely with partner-led teams, own core diligence and drafting workstreams and help drive transactions to closing. Company Highlights

  • Leading M&A workstreams from due diligence through closing
  • Drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary agreements
  • Conducting and supervising due diligence and risk analysis
  • Preparing disclosure schedules and closing documents
  • Coordinating stakeholders, specialists and transaction timelines
  • Working with health care regulatory and cross-practice teams
  • Managing negotiations, signings, closings and post-closing matters
  • Contributing to deal structuring, strategy and client communication
  • Driving efficient execution in collaboration with deal teams The role offers direct partner collaboration, increasing responsibility and meaningful client exposure. Ideal Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a Senior Corporate Transactions Associate with:
  • Five to seven years' corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting
  • Significant mergers and acquisitions experience
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience negotiating definitive and ancillary deal documents
  • Ability to manage complex workstreams, deadlines and stakeholders
  • Excellent academic credentials from a highly regarded law school
  • Illinois and Georgia Bar admission, or the ability to obtain both
  • Relevant corporate health care transactional experience is an advantage The position requires onsite presence in the Chicago office five days per week.
