Development & Community Impact Director

Job Description

This position in coordination with the CEO will take the Keene Family YMCA's philanthropy to a new level with innovative strategies that engage volunteers, staff and donors while developing a culture that integrates community impact work across the spectrum of giving to enhance donor engagement and the visibility of the Y as a mission-driven, nonprofit organization of value to the Monadnock Region.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in business administration, development, communications, public relations, human services, or equivalent. 2.Minimum 2 years' proven success in philanthropy with experience in major gifts, annual giving, foundation and corporate grants, capital development, planned giving, and volunteer development. 3.Minimum 3 years' experience in successfully leading and managing a team of direct and indirect reports and managing a department budget. 4.Direct experience working with Boards of Directors, board committees, and fund development volunteers. 5.Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, inclusive of successful experience directly preparing and delivering materials and presentations on needs, campaign case, and/or complex topics that influence decision makers at elevated levels of foundations, government, community organizations, corporations, and across diverse communities. 6.Demonstrated ability to develop strategic and operational plans and successful implementation through effective change management techniques.
