The incumbent in this position serves as a personal assistant to the President of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and relieves the President of routine and time-consuming duties. May supervise 2-4 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
