```Duties```

• Coordinate and schedule the movement of freight and transportation vehicles
• Utilize GPS and fleet management systems to track and monitor the location of vehicles
• Collaborate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
• Enter data into transportation management systems to maintain accurate records
• Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer orders and delivery schedules
• Communicate with drivers regarding any changes in delivery routes or schedules
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all dispatching activities
• Negotiate with customers to obtain required rates ```Qualifications```
• Previous experience in logistics or dispatching preferred
• Proficient in data entry and computer systems, including transportation management software
• Knowledge of freight operations and industry regulations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent phone etiquette
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
