$60,000-$75,000 annually, based on experience A well-established building materials company is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to oversee daily scheduling, routing, and logistics operations for its delivery fleet. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that reports directly to the CEO and is ideal for a professional who excels in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage a fleet of drivers, including flatbed, dump truck, and concrete truck deliveries. Schedule both pre-planned deliveries and accommodate real-time adjustments based on customer and operational needs. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery status, timing, and service updates. Maintain accurate dispatch records, delivery logs, and scheduling documentation. Assist with the implementation and adoption of a new ERP/dispatch platform featuring geofencing, real-time tracking, status updates, and electronic signature capabilities. Qualifications 6-10 years of dispatching experience required. Experience in related industries such as building materials, plumbing supply, roofing supply, retail distribution, home improvement, or similar environments is highly preferred. Construction industry experience is not required. Familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus. Previous driving experience is a plus. Proven leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing drivers or transportation personnel. Comfortable learning and adapting to new technology, systems, and processes. Schedule Core hours are approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM , with some flexibility. During the busy season (April through November), availability for two Saturdays per month from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM is required.
