Job Overview Pridestaff is seeking a highly organized and proactive 2nd Shift IMD Dispatcher/Service Repair Coordinator to join our dynamic transportation and logistics team. This role is essential in coordinating service repairs, dispatching freight, and managing communication across multiple platforms during the second shift. The successful candidate will ensure efficient operations by leveraging advanced transportation management systems, data analysis skills, and excellent communication abilities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to streamlined supply chain processes, support fleet management, and enhance customer satisfaction through effective dispatching and service coordination.

Core Responsibilities:

Emergency Dispatch:

Answer incoming calls, emails, and digital portal requests from stranded over-the-road (OTR) drivers.

Vendor Coordination:

Assign local mobile mechanics, repair shops, or tow trucks to breakdown sites immediately.

Real-Time Tracking:

Monitor the progress of service providers and communicate repair ETAs to drivers and fleet managers.

Problem Solving:

Handle unexpected delays or complex mechanical roadside issues efficiently

Requirements & Skills Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior customer service, logistics, or dispatch experience (transportation industry background is a strong plus).

Communication:

Clear verbal and written communication skills to handle high-stress situations.

Tech Skills:

Comfortable using computer systems, multi-line phones, and digital tracking software

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
