THE HUDDLE
WHY
THIS ROLE MATTERS
Every second on the clock matters. In this role, you are not just a dispatcher; you are the "Quarterback" of a high-stakes, life-saving logistical operation. Your "ball" is a shipment of time-sensitive blood platelets. Your "end zone" is a hospital bed where a patient is waiting for a critical transfusion. Platelets have a notoriously short shelf life and are in constant demand. If a delivery stalls, a life is directly on the line. We need a tactical leader who commands the radio, reads the field, anticipates obstacles before they happen, and takes 100% ownership of every outcome.
YOUR GAME PLAN
(RESPONSIBILITIES) "Call the Plays": Independently orchestrate, route, and dispatch a network of independent contractor (IC) drivers to secure and deliver critical platelet shipments. "Scan the Field" (Precision Tracking): Maintain absolute, relentless visibility on every single active delivery. You must pay intense attention to every mile, checkpoint, and minute on the clock. "Call an Audible" (Advanced Problem Solving): When traffic jams, vehicle breakdowns, or hospital access issues threaten the play, you don't panic. You instantly diagnose the problem, evaluate your options, and execute a flawless backup plan to get the delivery back on track. Lead with
Heart:
Balance your tactical mindset with profound compassion. You understand that behind every order number is a human being—a father, a child, a mother—waiting for a transfusion. Your communication with drivers and medical staff must reflect that weight.
Extreme Ownership:
You hold the whistle. You take full, unconditional responsibility for every single outcome on your shift. No excuses, no finger-pointing—just results.
THE QUARTERBACK PROFILE
(REQUIREMENTS)
The Mindset:
You thrive under pressure, possess an elite spatial/logistical IQ, and possess a natural instinct to lead and protect the mission.
Problem-Solving Prowess:
Proven ability to make split-second, critical decisions with limited information and zero supervision.
Obsessive Detail-Orientation:
A track record of monitoring complex, moving parts where a single missed detail can cause a failure.
Empathetic Command:
Strong communication skills that combine an assertive, calm authority with deep empathy for the patients we serve.
Endurance:
Ability to maintain peak mental sharpness and focus throughout a demanding 12-hour shift.
THE PERKS & SCHEDULE
Elite Work-Life Balance:
Our unique alternating schedule gives you built-in mini-vacations every single week:
Week A:
Work 3 days (36 hours), enjoy 4 consecutive days off
Week B:
Work 4 days (48 hours), enjoy 3 consecutive days off.
Purpose-Driven Mission:
No corporate fluff. Every shift you work directly impacts whether someone's loved one makes it home.
