Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Logistics / Trucking Dispatcher and Broker who can assist with covering and coordinating domestic loads to and from our warehouse as well as with other office tasks related to logistics. Duties Coordinate and dispatch freight loads efficiently using transportation management systems Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, shippers, and clients through proactive communication and exceptional customer service. Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms to optimize freight pricing and carrier utilization. Manage drivers and their expenses and pay Oversee dispatching operations, including data entry, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Requirements 3+ years of experience in the trucking and brokerage industry Familiarity with transportation planning, carrier sales, freight brokerage operations, and dispatching procedures. Excellent communication skills Attention to detail and completing all necessary steps and tasks involved with a load from beginning to end Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
