$52,000-$55,000 per year About 2 Day Transportation 2 Day Transportation is a family-owned and operated LTL freight carrier. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and experienced On-Site Dispatcher to join our growing operations team. The Position The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating daily pickups and deliveries, communicating with drivers, and helping ensure freight moves efficiently throughout the day. This is a fast-paced position that requires someone who can stay organized, communicate clearly, and make good decisions when schedules or priorities change. Responsibilities Dispatch drivers for daily pickups and deliveries Organize routes based on location, freight volume, and priority Communicate continuously with drivers throughout the day Monitor pickup and delivery progress Respond to schedule changes, delays, and customer requests Coordinate with the dock and operations team Update shipment and dispatch information accurately Help ensure pickups and deliveries are completed on time Communicate issues to management before they become larger problems Maintain an organized dispatch board and daily workflow What We're Looking For Previous dispatch, trucking, transportation, or logistics experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Dependable and punctual Comfortable working with computers and transportation software Experience with LTL freight and AS400 is a plus Schedule & Compensation Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM $52,000-$55,000 annually , depending on experience This is an on-site position and is not remote.
