ABOUT US

Mike's Amazing is one of the fastest-growing condiment brands in the country, with products sold through retail, foodservice, major venues, sporting events, and festivals across the U.S. We're looking for a Fleet Dispatcher who can keep constant visibility over our trucks, stay in close communication with drivers, and make sure the transportation team always knows what is happening on the road.

THE ROLE

The Fleet Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring our active fleet throughout the day and serving as the primary point of communication with drivers. This person needs to know where every truck is, whether it is on schedule, what issue a driver may be dealing with, and whether a delivery is at risk. You will work closely with drivers, warehouse teams, logistics, and transportation leadership to keep trucks moving and problems from becoming surprises.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Monitor company trucks and drivers throughout the day
• Maintain regular and constant communication with drivers by phone, messaging, and fleet systems
• Use Samsara throughout the day to monitor truck locations, routes, driver activity, estimated arrival times, and fleet status
• Track pickups and deliveries from departure through completion
• Make sure drivers are staying on schedule for appointments and deliveries
• Follow up immediately when a truck stops unexpectedly, falls behind schedule, deviates from route, or requires an update
• Communicate delays and transportation issues to the appropriate internal teams
• Coordinate truck arrivals and departures with warehouse and distribution teams
• Update driver status, schedules, shipment information, and transportation records throughout the day
• Collect and organize PODs, delivery confirmations, and other required documentation
• Assist drivers with appointment changes, customer issues, traffic delays, breakdowns, and other operational problems
• Maintain accurate records of driver communications and delivery status
• Escalate safety, compliance, or driver concerns when necessary
• Help monitor on-time delivery and fleet performance

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous dispatching, trucking, fleet, transportation, or logistics experience
• Hands-on experience using Samsara and Claude are

REQUIRED

• Candidates must be comfortable using Samsara daily for vehicle tracking, driver monitoring, route visibility, ETAs, fleet status, and operational follow-up
• Experience working directly with truck drivers strongly preferred
• Experience monitoring multiple trucks and drivers simultaneously
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with drivers throughout the day
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing situations at once
• Strong sense of urgency and follow-through
• Comfortable making calls, asking for updates, and following up until an issue is resolved
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Point

You like having visibility into the operation. If a truck is late, you want to know why. If a driver has a problem, you want to hear about it. If a delivery may be missed, you want the team to know before it becomes a bigger issue. You are comfortable staying in communication with drivers throughout the day and following up until you have an answer. Good dispatching is not just watching a map - it is knowing what is happening, communicating clearly, and staying ahead of problems.
