Walsh Trucking Co., a 65+ year old family-owned company and the leader in wood residual product transport for the Pacific Northwest, is looking for a day shift dispatcher to join our growing team in Willamina, OR. Come grow with us! Job hours are Monday-Friday, 4:00 am - 12:00 pm. There is occasional Saturday work. While working in Operations with a team that plans and manages truck drivers in day-to-day operations, our Dispatchers act as the first point of contact with our drivers .

Dispatchers are responsible for:

Data entry of load information Route details Schedules Run reports Entering billing information This position will communicate directly with drivers to assign loads, plan routes, and assist with questions. A successful Dispatcher candidate will have the following skills: Good communication - written and oral Good critical thinking in order to problem solve & create efficiencies Ability to work independently & in a team, multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment Good customer relations Experience in the trucking industry dispatching and/or driver management preferred Good understanding of FMCSR's (Hours of Service) Ability to learn and use software efficiently We offer a competitive salary, benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, vacation and a great work environment.
