We are seeking a dedicated Central Station Alarm Dispatcher to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of our customers by monitoring security systems, processing alarm signals, managing emergency responses, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and possess strong communication skills to effectively handle incoming calls and coordinate security operations. We are looking for long term employees. We are hiring one full time overnight position, working 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. This position will be 40 hours per week. Overtime is often available but not required. Paid training is provided Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for approx. 5 weeks, before moving to the above mentioned shift. All candidates must be at least 18 years of age, and will be licensed through the State of Texas and must pass fingerprints and a thorough FBI background check with no convictions or criminal record. NO phone calls. NO walk-ins. Apply by emailing your resume. Responsibilities Monitor security alarm systems in real-time to identify potential threats or issues. Respond promptly and professionally to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating appropriate actions. Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and answering inquiries via phone. Manage incoming calls efficiently, gathering necessary information and dispatching security personnel as needed. Maintain detailed logs of all activities, incidents, and communications for record-keeping purposes. Collaborate with security personnel, emergency services, and clients to ensure swift resolution of incidents. Perform typing tasks related to incident reports, logs, and communication documentation and general date entry. Skills Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor. Excellent typing skills for accurate data entry and documentation. Effective phone communication skills with the ability to handle multiple calls calmly and efficiently. Call center experience is advantageous, demonstrating ability to manage high-pressure situations. Ability to remain attentive, focused, and composed during extended periods of monitoring. Good organizational skills with attention to detail for logging activities accurately.
