Now Hiring:
Dispatcher Gault Electric LLC is looking for a highly organized, dependable, and solution-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly by coordinating with technicians, customers, CSRs, sales staff, and management. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment , can confidently juggle multiple priorities, and stays calm and professional when the schedule changes unexpectedly. This person should be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable making quick decisions to keep the day moving. Key Responsibilities Manage a high volume of incoming calls, requests, emails, and internal communications while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Coordinate and prioritize daily schedules based on urgency, technician availability, customer needs, and company priorities. Monitor multiple communication channels simultaneously and respond appropriately to time-sensitive requests. Serve as a backup to CSRs by answering incoming customer calls and assisting customers when CSR coverage is unavailable. Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, CSRs, sales staff, project teams, and management. Schedule and reschedule appointments while minimizing technician downtime and maximizing productivity. Monitor the daily schedule and proactively address delays, cancellations, call-outs, and scheduling conflicts. Assist with emergency and same-day scheduling when priorities change unexpectedly. Obtain and/or coordinate required permits for projects, including submitting applications, tracking approvals, and ensuring required documentation is completed. Follow up on outstanding permits, inspections, approvals, and other project-related requirements. Maintain accurate customer, job, scheduling, and project information within company systems. Communicate schedule changes and important job information to technicians and customers in a timely manner. Identify potential problems before they become larger issues and escalate appropriately when needed. Follow established dispatch, customer service, and administrative procedures. Assist other departments and team members as needed to maintain smooth daily operations. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Works well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Has strong organizational and time-management skills. Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Can prioritize multiple tasks based on urgency and importance. Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy. Is comfortable making decisions quickly and independently. Remains calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure. Possesses strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Communicates effectively with both customers and internal team members. Has strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Is proactive and looks for ways to solve problems before they impact customers or the team. Is dependable, accountable, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Scheduling or dispatching Customer service Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, construction, or other skilled trades Service-based businesses Project coordination Permitting and inspections Experience with Excel is a requirement Permitting or project coordination experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
