Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Representative / Dispatch professional to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as the communication hub for our scrap metal operations, coordinating scrap vehicle pick ups and dumpster exchanges, managing a cash drawer, and writing check for scrap metal loads over the drive-on scale. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help optimize logistics workflows, support supply chain efficiency, and uphold safety standards. Duties Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls using multi-line phone systems, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Cashiering responsibilities including cash and dispensing checks to customers. Managing Google Calendar to schedule vehicle pick ups & dumpster exchanges, occasional new dumpster accounts. Enter data accurately into our scrap buying software. Providing daily scrap reports. Other duties may be assigned as time progresses. A few very important skills that we are looking for are: Strong work ethic. You will be expected to be to work on time and to have excellent attendance. Strong customer service skills. Basic computer knowledge. Typing, Email, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Basic Internet Searching. Professional phone etiquette skills. A willingness to learn and perform multiple job duties. A willingness to work in all weather conditions. This position is mostly indoors but you will be asked to perform some work outside during all seasons.
