BASIC FUNCTION
The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for lecture and lab instruction in a variety of upper division and lower division Public Safety (Emergency Management) courses. The assignment may include courses in Preparedness, Response and Recovery, Human Resources Management for Emergency Services, Leadership and Ethics, Emergency Exercise Design and Evaluation, Voluntary Organizations in Emergency Management, and Grants Management. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, on-line, hybrid, weekend, and/or off campus classes.
EDUCATION
Required:
Any bachelor's degree and two years of full-time experience or equivalent part-time professional experience; OR any associate degree and six years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional experience.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Administration of Justice, Fire Technology, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Emergency Preparedness, Crises Management, Disaster Management, or Cybersecurity OR the equivalent
