This position ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards, IICRC guidelines, and industry best practices. This position serves as the primary liaison between field staff, customers, insurance representatives, vendors, and internal departments to ensure a seamless project experience from initial emergency response through project completion.
Responsibilities Leadership and Staff Management:
Lead, supervise, coach, and develop Emergency Services field personnel. Conduct employee training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed. Promote a positive, professional, and safety-focused work environment. Ensure all employees maintain required certifications and receive ongoing training. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee development.
Operations Management:
Coordinate and manage daily field scheduling and technician assignments. Schedule emergency response, mitigation services, inspections, and selling opportunities. Monitor project progress to ensure quality workmanship, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, IICRC standards, and safety procedures. Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Project Management:
Oversee emergency mitigation projects involving water, fire, smoke, mold, and biohazard losses. Review project scopes and determine labor, equipment, and material requirements. Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure successful transitions between mitigation and reconstruction. Monitor project timelines and ensure work is completed in accordance with company standards.
Equipment and Warehouse Management:
Manage all restoration equipment, including maintenance, cleaning, calibration, repairs, and deployment. Ensure proper equipment utilization and availability for emergency response. Manage consumable inventory and maintain adequate stock levels. Oversee warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety, and inventory control. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience within the restoration industry Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role Demonstrating experience in managing restoration personnel and field operations Experience in managing warehouse operations, equipment, inventory, and scheduling. Experience with vendor management and customer relationship management. Experience with water, fire, mold, and structural drying procedures.
