The Crisis Response Manager must be licensed in the State of Virginia by the Board of Social Work or Board of Counseling. Weekend and overnight coverage to assist the Crisis Response Team will be required at times. The Crisis Response Supervisor is designated to supervise the Crisis Response Team which responds to mental health crises in SBH clinics or in the community. The Crisis Response Manager is responsible for supervising the 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization program, Crisis Intervention Team Assessment Center (CITAC), and Community Stabilization functions within SBH's catchment area. The incumbent for this position will work with the Crisis Response Teams, clinical staff, local hospital and local emergency room staff, law enforcement, magistrates, and other community partnering agencies in order to assist individuals with stabilization from mental health crises. The successful professional should have experience in the management and assessment of mental health crises, as well as the ability to function in a high-needs, fast-paced environment. Crisis Services Professionals are considered essential staff and are required to work during times when the agency is closed for inclement weather and during holidays. Responsibilities Oversees the daily processes of Southside Behavioral Health Crisis Response Team during the daytime, including in the Response and Recovery Center and in the community. Provides direct supervision and consultation to Crisis Response Team staff. Triages emergent situations for safety with the Team. Responsible for training staff in regards to Crisis Services, including Mobile Crisis and Crisis Stabilization functions of the Crisis Response Team. Conducts or appropriately delegates Independent evaluations for local commitment hearings. Coordinates, attends and testifies in local commitment hearings. Trains staff to testify in commitment hearings and delegates as appropriate to ensure SBH presence in the proceedings. Reviews and approves documentation and time cards of supervisees. Must become certified as an Emergency Services Prescreener within 6 months of hire, as well as Mobile Crisis Response and understand state laws surrounding Emergency Custody Orders and Temporary Detention Orders. Other tasks and duties as provided by the Divisional Director of Crisis Services. Qualifications Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work Must be licensed (LPC or LCSW) Must become Certified Prescreener within 6 months of hire. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under stressful circumstances. Professional experience working with individuals diagnosed with Severe Mental Illness and Substance Use Disorders. 2 years experience working in crisis services. 2 years experience supervising crisis staff. Valid driver's license and safe driving record, required. Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements. Pay:

$70,734.00 - $123,785.00 per year
