McDowell Mountain Community Church

Facilities Manager

Job Description

ROLE PROFILE

Facilities Manager A hands-on, ministry-minded leadership role caring for McDowell Church's building, grounds, and the team that keeps our campus ready for ministry.

FULL-TIME EXEMPT MINISTRY ROLE REPORTS TO THE COO

This is a ministry role. The Facilities Manager cares for the spaces where our church gathers to worship, grow, and serve — leading with hands-on skill, high standards, and a servant's heart.

THE OPPORTUNITY

McDowell is a community following Jesus, learning to love. Every ministry that happens on our campus depends on a building that is clean, safe, and well cared for. The Facilities Manager leads that work — overseeing custodial operations, hands-on maintenance and repair, and room setups — while directly supervising two part-time facilities/custodial team members. This is a working, hands-on leadership role for someone who is as comfortable fixing things themselves as they are leading a team.
