full-time $18/hr Part-Time/On-Call. This position requires Saturday and/or evening availability. Apply at areasontosurvive.org Under the supervision of the Facilities Coordinator, the Facilities Assistant will perform general janitorial duties, including dusting, sweeping & mopping floors, vacuuming, clearing trash, cleaning restrooms, and restocking supplies to help maintain our 20,000 sq. ft. facility. They might be responsible at times for opening and closing the center. They must possess excellent communication skills, be personable, professional, flexible, and work well in a fast-paced environment. Hours are determined on an as-needed basis. Facilities Janitorial Support/Event Support (100%): Perform general janitorial duties, based on event work order, such as: dusting, sweeping & mopping, vacuuming, clearing trash, cleaning restrooms, etc. Maintain and replenish, as necessary, janitorial supplies (dispensers, towels, soap, toilet paper, paper cups, etc.); Notify Operations Department for restocking/purchasing of supplies. Provides post-event feedback to the Facilities Coordinator Assists with set-up and breakdown of events. (Be sure that all tables, chairs, work areas and additional items are in the designated space both before and after the event.) [As Needed]
