Duties Supervise and coordinate daily facilities maintenance activities, including mechanical systems repair, electrical systems troubleshooting, plumbing system maintenance, and HVAC system repair. Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures in accordance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Oversee the use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule repairs, track work orders, and maintain accurate maintenance records. Troubleshoot engineering issues using schematics, electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular inspections and training staff on safety protocols. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management. Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures and ensure adherence to industry standards for high voltage and low voltage electrical systems. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations involving HVAC systems, electrical wiring, or plumbing. Monitor facility conditions regularly to identify potential hazards or areas requiring immediate attention. Skills Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or commercial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting tools. Extensive experience with HVAC system repair and plumbing system maintenance. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for facilities safety compliance. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Ability to interpret electrical schematics; experience with electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage wiring. Skilled in project management with a focus on planning, resource coordination, and execution. Competence in electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of training staff and preparing detailed reports. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
